3. Self-Check-in and Key Handover
As part of our self-check-in process, check-in materials are prepared for arriving guests containing the guest's surname and assigned room number. These are used solely to ensure correct allocation and a smooth arrival experience.
This processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Check-in materials are destroyed immediately after the check-in process is complete. Unauthorised access by third parties is minimised through appropriate organisational measures.
4. Video Surveillance
To ensure the safety of our guests, staff, and property, the entire outdoor grounds and selected publicly accessible areas of our property are monitored by video cameras. Surveillance is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and protection of property) in conjunction with § 4 BDSG.
Video surveillance is clearly indicated by signs posted at the relevant entrances and access points.
Recorded footage is deleted automatically after 72 hours, unless a specific security incident requires longer retention. Data is only disclosed to law enforcement authorities where legally required.
Guest rooms and private areas are not subject to video surveillance at any time.
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in the context of video surveillance where grounds arising from your particular situation exist (Art. 21 GDPR).
