Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the temporary provision of hotel rooms for accommodation as well as all associated services and deliveries of the hotel.
Deviating or supplementary conditions of the guest do not apply unless the hotel expressly agrees to their applicability in writing.
2. Conclusion of Contract
The accommodation contract is concluded upon acceptance of the guest's booking request by the hotel. Acceptance can occur in writing, verbally, by telephone, or via electronic booking systems.
By finalizing the booking, the guest acknowledges these General Terms and Conditions as binding.
3. Prices and Services
All prices are per room and night, including the prevailing statutory value-added tax and the expressly agreed services.
Obvious errors remain reserved.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, the total amount is due for payment immediately after booking conclusion.
The hotel is entitled to request a reasonable advance payment or security deposit.
Payments are only considered made once irrevocable credited to the hotel's account.
5. Default in Payment
If the guest defaults on payment, the hotel is entitled to charge statutory default interest and reasonable reminder fees.
If the payment remains outstanding despite reminders, the hotel may withdraw from the contract and claim damages.
6. Cancellation Policy
Flexible Rate
Free cancellation is possible up to one day before arrival, 18:00.
Thereafter, and in case of no-show, 100% of the total price is charged.
Saver Rate
Non-cancellable and non-changeable.
In the event of cancellation or no-show, the entire booking amount is due.
The time of receipt of the cancellation by the hotel is decisive.
A voluntary goodwill arrangement does not establish any legal entitlement.
7. Arrival and Departure
Check-in from 2:30 PM.
Check-out by 12:00 PM.
Earlier arrival or later departure is only possible subject to availability and for an additional fee.
8. Arrival / Transport Connection
The journey is the guest's own responsibility.
Restrictions or failures of road, bridge, rail or other transport connections – especially closures of the Rügen Bridge or Rügendamm, traffic jams, accidents, weather events, strikes or official measures – do not provide entitlement to free cancellation or reduction, provided the hotel is operational and generally accessible.
If arrival is not possible for all guests due to an official order or objectively complete impossibility, both parties are entitled to withdraw from the contract. Payments already made will be refunded. No further claims exist.
9. Room Use
The maximum occupancy is based on the booked room category.
Smoking, sub-letting and commercial use of the rooms are prohibited.
Extra beds are available for a fee, subject to availability.
10. Non-Smoking Policy
An absolute non-smoking policy applies in all indoor areas of the hotel.
In case of violation, a cleaning fee of at least €250.00 will be charged, provided no higher damage is proven.
Further claims for damages are reserved.
11. Pets
Pets are only allowed with prior approval.
A fee per animal per night is charged.
The guest is liable for all damages caused by the pet.
12. Extraordinary Pollution
In the event of extraordinary pollution of the rooms or facilities, the hotel is entitled to charge an appropriate special cleaning fee.
The guest retains the right to prove a lesser damage.
13. Technical Facilities
The hotel partially uses digital systems (e.g. online check-in, electronic door systems, WiFi).
In the event of temporary technical disruptions, the hotel will offer a reasonable substitute solution.
Statutory reduction rights remain unaffected.
14. Complaints
Any defects must be reported immediately during the stay.
If the guest culpably fails to report the defects, claims for reduction are excluded, provided the hotel is not liable for intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty.
15. House Rules
The hotel is entitled to terminate the contract without notice if the guest persistently disrupts the hotel operations or violates these General Terms and Conditions.
No refund claim exists in such cases.
16. Loss of Key
In case of loss of a room key, a reasonable flat rate will be charged.
Further costs, particularly for the replacement of the locking system, remain reserved.
17. Parking and Bicycle Storage
If the hotel provides parking spaces for motor vehicles or storage facilities for bicycles, this is solely as a gesture of goodwill.
No custody contract arises as a result.
The hotel assumes no surveillance or special security of parked vehicles or bicycles.
Parking is at the user's own risk.
The hotel is only liable for damages, theft, or loss in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty by the hotel or its vicarious agents.
No liability is assumed for objects in the vehicle or on the bicycle, unless the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
Statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.
18. Hotel Liability
The hotel is fully liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
For other damages, the hotel is liable in cases of intent and gross negligence.
In the event of slight negligence of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), the hotel's liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage for such contracts.
Further liability is excluded.
19. Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure or other circumstances for which the hotel is not responsible and which make the fulfilment of the contract significantly more difficult or impossible, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract.
Payments already made will be refunded.
No further claims exist.
20. Data Protection
Personal data is processed exclusively in accordance with the statutory provisions, in particular the GDPR.

21. Jurisdiction
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
The place of jurisdiction is - insofar as legally permissible - the location of the hotel.
22. Final Provisions (Severability Clause)
Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
The statutory provisions replace the invalid provision.
