Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the rental of hotel rooms for accommodation purposes, as well as to all related additional services and deliveries provided by the hotel.
Any deviating or supplementary terms and conditions of the guest shall not apply unless the hotel expressly agrees to their validity in writing.
2. Conclusion of Contract
The accommodation contract is concluded when the hotel accepts the guest’s booking request. Acceptance may be made in writing, verbally, by telephone, or via electronic booking systems.
By completing the booking, the guest acknowledges these GTC as binding.
3. Prices and Services
All prices are per room and per night, including the applicable statutory VAT and the services expressly agreed.
Obvious errors excepted.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, the total amount is due for payment immediately upon completion of the booking.
The hotel is entitled to request a reasonable advance payment or security deposit.
Payments are deemed made only once they have been irrevocably credited to the hotel’s account.
5. Default in Payment
If the guest defaults on payment, the hotel is entitled to charge statutory default interest and reasonable reminder fees.
If payment is not made despite a reminder, the hotel may withdraw from the contract and claim damages.
6. Cancellation Policy
Flexible Rate
Free cancellation is possible up to three days before arrival, 18:00.
Thereafter, and in case of no-show, 100% of the total price will be charged.
Saver Rate
Non-cancellable and non-amendable.
In case of cancellation or no-show, the full booking amount is due.
The relevant time is when the cancellation is received by the hotel.
A voluntary goodwill arrangement does not establish any legal entitlement.
7. Arrival and Departure
Check-in from 14:30.
Check-out by 12:00.
Earlier arrival or later departure is possible only subject to availability and for an additional charge.
8. Arrival / Transport Connections
Arrival is the guest’s own responsibility.
Restrictions or disruptions to road, bridge, rail, or other transport links - in particular closures of the Rügen Bridge or the Rügen Causeway, traffic jams, accidents, weather events, strikes, or official measures - do not give rise to any entitlement to free cancellation or price reduction, provided the hotel is operational and generally accessible.
If arrival is not possible for all guests due to an official order or objective complete impossibility, both parties are entitled to withdraw from the contract. Payments already made will be refunded. No further claims exist.
9. Room Use
Maximum occupancy is based on the booked room category.
Smoking, subletting, and commercial use of the rooms are prohibited.
Extra beds are possible subject to availability and for a fee.
10. Smoking Ban
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the hotel.
In the event of a violation, a cleaning fee of at least €250.00 will be charged unless higher damage is proven.
The right to claim further damages remains reserved.
11. Pets
Pets are permitted only with prior consent.
A fee is charged per pet and per night.
The guest is liable for all damage caused by the animal.
12. Extraordinary Soiling
In the event of extraordinary soiling of rooms or facilities, the hotel is entitled to charge a reasonable special cleaning fee.
The guest reserves the right to prove lesser damage.
13. Technical Facilities
The hotel partially uses digital systems (e.g. online check-in, electronic door systems, Wi-Fi).
In the event of temporary technical disruptions, the hotel will offer a reasonable alternative solution.
Statutory rights to a price reduction remain unaffected.
14. Notification of Defects
Any defects must be reported without undue delay during the stay.
If the guest culpably fails to report defects, claims for price reduction are excluded unless the hotel is responsible for an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty.
15. House Rules Authority
The hotel is entitled to terminate the contract without notice if the guest persistently disrupts hotel operations or breaches these GTC.
In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund.
16. Loss of Key
In the event of loss of a room key, a reasonable flat fee will be charged.
Further costs, in particular for replacement of the locking system, remain reserved.
17. Car Park and Bicycle Parking Spaces
If the hotel provides parking spaces for motor vehicles or storage options for bicycles, this is done solely as a courtesy.
No safekeeping contract is thereby concluded.
The hotel does not provide surveillance or special security for parked vehicles or bicycles.
Use is at the user’s own risk.
The hotel is liable for damage, theft, or loss only in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the hotel or its vicarious agents.
No liability is assumed for items located in the vehicle or on the bicycle unless the damage was caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
Statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.
18. Hotel Liability
The hotel has unlimited liability for damage arising from injury to life, body, or health.
For other damage, the hotel is liable in cases of intent and gross negligence.
In the event of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), the hotel’s liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
Any further liability is excluded.
19. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure or other circumstances for which the hotel is not responsible that significantly hinder or make performance of the contract impossible, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract.
Payments already made will be refunded.
No further claims exist.
20. Data Protection
Personal data is processed exclusively within the framework of the statutory provisions, in particular the GDPR.

21. Place of Jurisdiction
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
The place of jurisdiction is - insofar as legally permissible - the registered office of the hotel.
22. Final Provisions (Severability Clause)
Should any provision of these GTC be wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The statutory provisions shall replace the invalid provision.
